Our Purpose
The school store was created to give students an opportunity to learn how to run all aspects of a retail business from accounting and marketing. The school store uses various vendors an dplaces orders for different organization and clubs throughout the school system. School spirit items are displayed and sold here. Our merchandise ranges from pencils and erasers to athletic and infant apparel and accessories.
Becoming an Entrepreneur
Students must take Computer Applications (Freshman year) and Business Essentials (Sophomore year). Students with an A average will be given an application to apply for the Entpreneurship program. The application process is then handled by the existing School Store Managers and Store Advisor.
Hands-on Training
Student practice hands-on training by learning how to demonstrate appropriate customer service, inventory control, human resource activities, teamwork and leadership skills. They also work on various marketing activities by creating and maintaining floor displays, designing flyers, and arranging merchandise to promote various sales. |
